French bistro
Le Bistro du Port is an ultra-classic French bistro on Papirøen in Copenhagen, led by head chef Morten Krogholm — formerly head chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant Kokkeriet.
Le Bistro du Port is as classic as its name: it celebrates ultra-classic French cuisine, the harbour that surrounds us, and the warm, heartfelt atmosphere.
In the kitchen, Krogholm and his team navigate classical techniques, choice ingredients and centuries of French tradition — from a Tournedos Rossini to stuffed morels.
In the dining room, Jilly Høi and her team of attentive staff create a mood of warmth and intimacy, while the wine list, music and interior design are both ambitious and inviting.
Copenhagen's harbour and Nyhavn paint the beautiful backdrop —
for a sunlit lunch or an evening beneath the sunset over the water.
Oysters, caviar with brioche, turbot in a turbotière, and a glass of Meursault — Le Bistro du Port is the place you always find yourself returning to.
